Southern Thai Green Curry Paste

Few Thai dishes have become more standardised in the West than Thai green curry yet in Thailand there are many regional variations to this dish. This is one of them. The heat comes from the tiny bird's eye chillies that are added to so many dishes in Southern Thailand. Yes, it's hot but the complex array of flavours still come through to tantalise the taste buds and it's wonderful with a cold beer! This is really a curry for the heat lovers, lesser mortals may prefer a medium spiced Thai green curry like the Bangkok Style Green Curry.  Or for those of you want the mildest curry experience possible we now have a Mild Thai Green Curry paste.

This is one of my all time favourites when in Thailand or from a restaurant.
This is a very fiery dish, not for the feint hearted but it’s extremely tasty and every bit as good, if not better than I’ve had in Thailand. All these pastes are amazing, I’m so glad I found them!

Cooked with this paste for the first time yesterday. 'Whey Hey!' this one has a great 'kick' and was enjoyed by both of us - so much so that seconds were had and there were no left overs!

Stunning flavor

We love making curry, midweek, weekends in fact any time of the week, these pouches of paste are so authentic, you don't need to add any other spice, just a good quality coconut milk and then your fish or meat, bingo and amazing full of flavor curry

This paste was milder and more sweet compared to the red and green curry pastes but very tasty. I would definitely purchase again. The use of potatoes made a change.
