A Panang Curry is a little sweet, a little salty and one of the few curries to use Thai basil. Most often cooked with beef but can also be prepared with other meat or seafood. Served with a thick coconut sauce, one of my favourites but often not prepared properly outside Thailand. Try it and see !

Excellent Panang paste

I bought two of these - one to try to recreate the delicious beef 'Penang' from our favourite local Thai restaurant (Mantra in Newcastle, highly recommended) and the other to make Satay. The beef was so simple to make and very tasty, there were no leftovers and it served three people with Jasmine rice. The satay was a little more involved but also came out well. Overall very pleased and will be ordering again.

Tastes like real Thai curry from Thailand!

Amazing pastes. I bought 4 initially and will be buying another very soon. I lived in Thailand for two years and this the closest I've got to the real deal. Recommend!!
